Physiotherapy (physical therapy) is a health/medical profession concerned with the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of physical disabilities, pain, and injury. It uses a range of techniques including capacity building exercise, manual therapy, and assistive technology to support clients regain strength, flexibility, and function, as well as manage pain.
We all aspire to reach certain goals or achieve things in life. Sometimes our bodies become a barrier to reach these goals. Physiotherapists aim to work closely to acknowledge and understand the physical barriers for each participant. We then use education and therapy to build plans that allow participants to get closer to their desired goals.
